AIR TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT

The Air Traffic Management (ATM) Division is responsible for managing all domestic and international air traffic within the Mauritius airspace with the aim of enabling aircraft operators to meet their planned times of departures and arrivals and ad​here to their preferred flight profiles with minimum constraints and without compromising agreed levels of safety.

The ATM division provides Air Traffic Services aircrafts flying within the Mauritius Flight Information Region in an area extending up to 9,000,000 km² in the Indian Ocean.

Search and Rescue (SAR)

The ATM division is responsible for coordinating SAR operations in the event of aircraft emergencies and accidents within the Mauritius FIR.
